Aeronautical Repair Station Association

Write Congress About the Importance of the Aviation Maintenance Industry

EB-WebAs ARSA members are aware, the association recently announced a new report that provides a comprehensive economic review of the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) marketplace. The report’s review of the civil maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration markets focuses on the heavy airframe, engine, component, and line maintenance segments.

One of the hallmarks of an effective trade association is its ability to influence lawmakers on key policy issues.  A trade group’s grassroots support, namely its membership, can play a critical role in determining the outcome of these policy issues.

ARSA encourages its members to seize this fantastic opportunity offered by Congress starting a new session to educate key lawmakers and their staff now about the importance of the aviation maintenance industry.  The association’s new report provides important background that places the association’s legislative efforts front and center when discussing aviation maintenance policy matters with congressional leaders.

To foster this effort, the association has created an easy method to contact and educate your U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate members about the report’s findings via  So please take five minutes to write your Members of Congress today.  The process is quick and easy, and the benefits to the aviation maintenance industry are invaluable!
